Personally, I think gnubg is the most flexible, customizable and realistic of the three. I like its interface and features. I think it's shy on hitting compared to XG and I don't know how much this plays towards the claims that XG is stronger. However, I don't think XG would necessarily do better against humans based on this or that. Strong human players would quickly figure the bots out and adjust their games accordingly. I don't know if this helps you any but regardless, don't let these sick assholes get to you. They are as slimy as they come.
